

Context
The Scene is a streaming company composed of a video streaming service emphasizing group watching and a social media app revolving around film and film lovers. The brand emphasizes community, inclusivity, and the warmth of a setting sun.
Result
Over the course of 15 weeks, the brand identity was developed into four deliverables. As the identity was developed the community aspect of all the designs reflected strongly in the results.


Creating the Brand
Various sketches were created to find an appropriate logo for The Scene. The sketches were then further defined until three logos were presented to client. The client then selected the preferred logo from the three, which was then rendered digitally.
Once the logo was selected color palettes were developed, refined, and then defined in accordance with the client. The colors selected based on the setting sun, with the goal of evoking the feeling of the evening spent with family and friends, sitting under an open sky with with a projector flickering to life.


The Logo
The logo was created as achromatic (without color) so that the final logo mark can be used on various different products as needed. The process of designing the logo in this fashion was crucial since it allowed for modular use, which could be further expanded upon the future

Conclusion
The Brand Identity was used to create four deliverables, a brochure, a bus ad, a shopping bag, and a mobile app. The prototype for the app can be seen above and used below.
